In 1978 we became very active with breeding, showing, AKC hunt tests, waterfowl hunting and judging Labrador Retrievers.  Waterbound Labradors are the breeders of 28 AKC champions including many Junior Hunters, Senior Hunters and 4 Master hunters.  After moving to Kansas in 2005, we became very involved with upland game hunting and bird dogs. 

Today we are actively involved in National Shoot To Retrieve Association (NSTRA) field trials and hunting quail, pheasants, and grouse.

Through our association with many NSTRA members, we have been able to develop a few very fine bird dogs and have begun a breeding program that we hope will equal the success we have enjoyed with Labradors.

Our Committment is to improve the English Setter  breed by striving to produce genetically sound, top performers in the field.
